• IP address and request data: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request timing for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

• To deliver the weekly newsletter you subscribed to

• Service providers: We use Supabase (database hosting), Cloudflare (web hosting and security), and Resend (newsletter delivery). These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

• Newsletter emails: Retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
• Forum accounts: Retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, your profile is removed within 30 days; your forum posts remain but are anonymized.
• Server logs: Retained by Cloudflare for up to 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all traffic, password hashing for user accounts, row-level security policies on our database, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request that we delete your information

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregate) to understand site traffic and performance. It does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors and does not track people across websites.
