What Cookies We Use
CIP Sentinel uses a minimal set of cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the Site to function properly.
Cookies Set by Cloudflare (Our Hosting Provider)
- __cf_bm — Bot management. Distinguishes humans from automated scrapers. Expires after 30 minutes.
- cf_clearance — Security clearance after passing bot checks. Expires after 30 days.
These are classified as "strictly necessary" cookies under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, and do not require user consent. They are essential for protecting the Site from bots, DDoS attacks, and abuse.
Cookies Set by Supabase (Database Provider)
If you sign in to the community forum, Supabase sets session cookies to keep you logged in. These include authentication tokens that expire when you log out or after a period of inactivity.
Third-Party Cookies
Resend processes newsletter subscriptions and email delivery. Fonts load from Google Fonts and Fontshare. These providers receive information needed to deliver their services; review their privacy policies for details.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregate) to understand site traffic and performance. It does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors and does not track people across websites.
CIP Sentinel does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics that track visitors across websites.
How to Disable Cookies
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site (such as the forum) from functioning.
